For activities closer to home, check out the new Peoples Bank Sportplex, which features 8 different sports field and a walking trail, or spend the day having a picnic at the Tippah County Lake. The county also offers activities for people of all ages, from youth softball to the Young-at-Heart senior program!

Public Schools

Both North Tippah and South Tippah offer school districts, so kids and parents never have to travel too far. The schools provide programs for free and reduced lunches, as well as parent portals that allow parents and guardians to check in on academic standings and events.

For those looking into colleges and universities, Tippah County's location in Northern Mississippi is conveniently located near several universities, colleges, community colleges, and cosmetology schools.

Shopping and Dining

No matter what you might be craving, Tippah County has a variety of restaurants to satisfy your hunger, from Bishop's BBQ, to Chinese food, to local cafés. And if you're in need of something to grab on the go, there are also several fast food restaurants to choose from.

For a unique shopping experience, swing by one of the First Monday Trade Days! Started in the 1800s and still running today, the Tippah County's Trade Days is the longest continually running flea market in the country.
